Tips and Tricks
Moving is always a hassle, but packing your kitchen can be especially difficult. Not only do you have to worry about packing all of your dishes and appliances, but you also have to make sure that your fragile items are packed safely. London Ontario Movers will give you some tips and tricks on how to pack your kitchen for a move. We will also provide a list of supplies that you will need in order to get the job done right. Let’s get started!
The first thing you need to do when packing your kitchen is to make a list of all the items that you need to pack. This includes everything from your dishes and silverware to your appliances and food. Once you have made this list, you can start packing up your kitchen one item at a time.
When it comes to packing your dishes, it is important to use plenty of padding in order to protect them from breaking. You can use bubble wrap, styrofoam, or even old towels and blankets. It is also a good idea to place your dishes in boxes that are labeled “fragile.” This will help ensure that they are not damaged during the move.
As for your appliances, you will need to disconnect them from their power sources and wrap them up in order to protect them. If you have a dishwasher, be sure to empty it out completely before moving it. For your refrigerator, you will need to empty it out and defrost it at least 24 hours before the move.
Finally, don’t forget to pack up all of your food. This includes everything from canned goods to dry goods. Be sure to label all of the boxes so that you know what is inside of them. With these tips, you can be sure that your kitchen will be packed up and ready to go on moving day!
