Favorite Tourist Activities

Italy is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. The scenery of Escursioni etna da Taormina, the food, and the people are all so incredible that it can be hard to know what you should do when you’re there with your family! That’s why we’ve compiled a list of our favorite tourist activities for kids in Italy. If you’re looking for things that will make your child happy (and maybe even teach them something!), then this article is perfect for you.

The first thing you should do is go on a hike! There are so many mountains and hills in Italy that it’s almost impossible not to find someplace beautiful. Since the weather is usually great, you’ll want to take advantage of it as much as possible. A hike will give your family an incredible view and wonderful exercise too – what more could you ask for?

Another tourist activity we recommend trying with kids is seeing the sites from a gondola ride . This can be done anywhere along the coast, but Venice has become one of our favorite places because there are always people out rowing boats around! Watching those oars moving back and forth is mesmerizing enough by itself… then add in all those gorgeous buildings lining the canal banks, and it’s hard to imagine that anyone would rather be anywhere else.

If you’re looking for something educational, then don’t forget about art museums ! Art is all around us in Italy – there are murals on the sides of buildings and statues lining parks . But none of those compare with seeing real art up close! You can even make it fun by working together as a family to try and recreate some pieces using sidewalk chalk before exploring them yourself. There’s so much history surrounding Italian paintings, sculptures , and more – your child will have no problem finding something they love here!

One last thing we always do when visiting this country has been taking a cooking class . We’ve actually done these classes twice now because our first one was so good…and also because it really was that much fun! You can learn how to make some incredible dishes, and all the while you’ll be surrounded by gorgeous scenery. If your child is a picky eater or if they just love food , then this will definitely be something for them to remember .
